Binh Thuan is known to be one of the driest provinces in Vietnam with 192 km of coastline. This area is affected by severe weather in Vietnam.
With desertified areas, windstorms happen frequently will create violent sandstorms, moving sand from the coast, threatening to bury villages and fields on thousands of hectares. Nowadays, the forest system and water resources are exhausted so animals and plants cannot live.
